Hyphessobrycon heterorhabdus, the Belgian flag tetra or flag tetra, is a species of characid fish from Brazil.[1]
This fish “has an elongate and laterally compressed body”[2] and is “attractive…with red colored eyes and a lateral stripe composed of black, red, and yellow lines”[3] similar to the flag of Belgium (thus the name).
